Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias make a notoriously private pair. When it comes to their relationship, they are constantly avoiding the spotlight and do not want to get much attention. They just want to keep their private lives private. However, they have been together for over 11 years now and rumors of the two getting married have been going on for quite a long time. They started dating in 2001, after Anna appeared in Enrique’s video, Escape.





In 2011, the rumor that Anna was pregnant by Enrique surfed the web and the whole world thought that the couple were finally tying the knot. Nor was Anna pregnant, nor are they getting married, though. Everyone is wondering why Enrique won’t marry Anna already. It’s been 11 years! Does he love her or is he just afraid to get out of such a long relationship?
The mistery was solved a couple of months ago, when Enrique was interviewed by Parade magazine and he decided to straighten things out. Enrique seems to be very busy now that his tour with Jennifer Lopez will kick off on July 14, in Montreal. The I Like It star and sexy J.Lo. are currently among the hottest stars of the moment. However, few women are hotter than Anna Kournikova, age 31, who is still a blonde bombshell.

So, why aren’t they getting married? When asked if he has any plans of putting a ring on it, Enrique laughed and said that he and Anna are happy where they are now. He added that he does not think that marriage would make a difference. “Maybe it’s because I come from divorced parents, but I don’t think you love someone more because of a piece of paper“, the artist stated. This does not mean that Enrique is not committed to his beautiful girlfriend, though.
Enrique explained how nowadays it is no longer that big a deal to have children and not be married. What matters is “that you’re a good parent, period.” During a concert in Russia in April 2011, everyone expected wedding bells to be ringing when the musician referred to Anna as “my wife“. The Hero singer explained that he was just being sweet in the moment and the crowd would better understand what he meant in this way.
